Finally, i was able to get songs by Shinwa, SS501, FT Island, and SG Wannabe from ]www.esnips.com, whole albums from some of the artists! i consider myself very lucky, but i wasnt that lucky when it came to shinwa :S i mean they have about 7 albums out and i was only able to get a couple of songs! how does that make sense. i know shinwa are really famous, but ill try harder, for eric's sake ;).
SS501 - 
their songs are more of the hyper, active, upbeat, dancy genre. if you want to dance then put their songs on. i haven't got a favorite yet because all their songs are pretty good, but my friend recommended some of her favorite and im going to check them out
FT Island - 
I gotta say, i don't understand all the excitment when it comes to this band. yes they have songs, their voices are pretty decent, but their songs aren't interesting enough for you to continue listening to it to the end of the song. before i actually fail to like this band, someone hurry up and recommend me some of their good songs!!.
SG Wannabe - 
I am not familiar with ballads and slow songs, but SG Wannabe have outstanding songs! i've listend to sin and punishment, Taboo, Timeless, etc and i liked them all!. i wouldn't be able to listen to them often since im more to the rock/pop side *dbsk, big bang, epik high* than ballads, but there are some times when you just need to listen to a slow song for you to relax, and this group will be on my top list then!

Have you ever waited for something to end, and when it was almost over, you look back and wish you had just a little more time before it ends? well thats how i feel right now. school's over, literally, no more school anymore, its university from now. today was our last school day. 4 exams after that and it's finally over. now i finally understand the meaning of "bittersweet" feelings. that's how im feeling right now, i am so happy and excited school is over and graduation is so near! but at the same time i am so heart broken to leave all my friends and for us to all drift into our seperate futures.
i like to consider myself a strong person, but i couldnt hold it in after one of my friends started hugging me and crying, it was just too much for me. i started tearing up and like we all started hugging each other and it was just TOO DAMN SAD!. im gonna miss you seniors of 08, and i love you to bits!! all of you idiots out there!!! who i have spent the past 6 years in the same classes goofing around and going crazy. let's leave the formation of the salty sea for graduation.
on top of the exam stress, i also have to do some placment tests for university, AND i have to prepare the valedictorian speech. as usual, my lovely school just informs me that my speech will be said IN graduation (i know thats how its supposed to go, but at the beginning they told me there will be no valedictorian speech in grad) so i have to edit it and try practicing, since i usually choke during public speeking, not my finest hours.
haven't been reading anything lately, i have actually started a few books, but nothing that caught my intrest. oh! Stephenie Meyer's new novel is out! "The Host" , itll arrive here in 2 weeks time, and im so excited!!!
Gossip Girl has finally ended it's haitus. now its back to the scandalous lives of manhattan's elite.
Anyband rock. i know the band was formed because of this pretty expensive add for anycall, i mean they didnt only get ONE awesome celebrity, but THREE!. Put Tablo, Xiah and Boa together and they will keep you happy all the way. my favorite song is talk, play, love. after watching the MV it totally gave me goosebumps <3

it has been a hectic week, going back to school and piling stuff on us, but it's all good, i finished most of the stuff due at the end of this week, so i get to relax a bit and write on my LJ =P
we got our report cards, i got a 95%, which is good, also because of being on the basketball team, i get a +5 on any grade, which means 1% on the report card, so it goes up to a 96% hopefully =). scholarship here i come!!

everything's solved now, no tearful arguments as i thought would be needed in order to go to libya. we are going to libya, but we are going touring, because even though im from libya, i've never been to the roman ruins there, or the oasis's, or any of the sights that mark libya as one of the "hotspots" for tourists in 2008 *thats what it said in the magazine*, also, we are going to only spend about 3 weeks here in the UAE, (well its actually one week, since i finish school 2 weeks early than usual, because im a senior, and my sister is the same time), then we go to libya!! *woopiiee* im totally excited!! :D.
oh! today i went out to lunch at this mall, and while i was at the book store *obviously* i saw a S.H.E frame!! IMAGINE THAT?! its THE first time i see anything remotly east asian that has to do with celebrities!, i just had to take photos for evidence, they are right now stored in my mobile, but when i have the time i'll transfer them to my laptop and post them at the nearest possible time :D. seriously im not exaggerating, because when i see i've never seen anything remotly east asian, i literally MEAN it :P.
also, i've heard DBSK will be in the hollywood bowl for a show in the state of sunshine, california, on may 17th, and let me tell you, i nearly cried when i heard that, on top of it, super junior T will be there too!! (my eeteukieee <3), damn it, why is our luck always like this? why not come to dubai! COME COME COMEEEEEE DBSK!! HEROOO <3 i envy whoever is going soo much, that i turned green (which leads to another question.. WHY green? and not brown or violet?) so yea, dbsk, you better come here, even if it was only for tourism! because all i want is to just see you!!! lol ok im sounding too desperate right now :P but i really hope they do an amazing job, it's their first time performing in america right? well californians, congratulations! your wishes came true.

i started taking japanese classes, not really with a teacher, but kind of self study, i really have picked up alot of words and sentences from my drama watching (same goes for korean), but my brother and sister are more interested in japanese, and i really understand japanese better than korean, we thought we would start our own study group, from helping guides on the internet and groups on crunchyroll.com, i really have improved and understood more in just one lesson! sugoi ne?

Lobbyist Synopsis (from SBS Global):

my comment:
if you read the synopsis, then you can basically skip to episode 6, where i am right now, because everything you read in the synopsis was extended to a 6 hour drama. till now the drama doesn't grasp my full interest.. because i'm not a fan of flashbacks (spring waltz had the same idea, flashbacks first 3 eps, i skipped through most of it), but worse, its for 6 episodes here.. i didn't really think they were flashbacks so i put up with it, but hearing that they aren't is really good, because i wasn't sure whether to continue the story, because of how slow it was.
the characters aren't the best, there just doesn't seem to be any chemistry going on, and sometimes while watching you will see a blank face and think "what the hell is going on inside his head?" but other than that, i think they are doing a good job, especially the actress who portrays the character maria.
again, i can't judge a 24 episode drama just on flashbacks and 6 episodes, i gotta continue, and i was really in the mood for an action/romance drama, after watching my girl which was too much melodrama for me, i think i chose something i might not give it a 9/10 or 10/10 but i will enjoy watching.

the book im reading right now is Remember me? by Sophie Kinsella.
i've just started reading it, so i realy can't say if its good or not, but the beginning is interesting, its diffenetly Sophie Kinsella style. i really adore the author, she has also wrote bestsellers such as Shopaholic series and the novel can you keep a secret?. they are one of my favorite books, so when i found out she published a new book this year, i had to go out and buy it =), i am sure it won't be disappointing. but ill keep you posted about it in the next entry.
edit: OMG! i just found out they are making a movie out of the first book of the shopaholic series! "confession of a shopaholic" OMG!!!! *SQUEEEL* IM SO EXCITED!!!

Basketball:
i am so tired, just got back from the basketball game, and damn we lost. its ok, since i know we played our best, and the opposite team were just aweful in their sport spirit. they pushed, kicked, hit, swore, anything you could think of at us, the damn score was even a cheat! now how is that possible? i don't know. see im not trying to say that we only lost because they cheated, because in actual we only lost by maybe 2 shots or not, but they LITERALY beat the crap out of us, i have a bruised knee and my hip hurts like hell where a girl hit me with her elbow. but wtv, i just hope people in this world would just play fairly and stop cheating their damn way up.
i am currently watching Air City [Korean Drama], i am on episode 4, and it is seriously awesome. the story isn't fully introduced, but the suspense, and action, is just what i need right now. so far, i would give it a rating of 4 out of 5, but its wrong to judge from now, so you have to check it out.
what's it about?
The whole drama is basically set in the Incheon Korea airport, which is a plus for me since i love airports, it is basically about a guy, who is an agent in the National Intilligence service, his bestfriend and co-worker was murdered by a member of an unkown group and all he has from them is this pendant. He is trying to catch the murderer. later on his ex-lover starts working in the same airport, but he starts to develop feelings for the other woman (third person in the photo from the left), also at the same time the first person from the right also starts to like her, so its kind of like a typical korean drama with a twist. 
oh i heard Hero's new single "Maze" - my god it is amazing, so different from DBSK's style, but i love it, its a mix of rock/punk style, and it totally compliments jaejoong's soft angelic voice.

so thats where my journal days start, today, march 21st, 2008. hopefully it wont be like before, where i use it for a week then stop, i will actually use it.
im using this to voice my feelings, what my mood is, anything that im thinking of at that moment, so don't get alarmed at the randomness of some of the enteries, because im not really looking to please whoever reads this or to look good, since this is anonymous, none of my actual friends will know about this, therefore i have free of speech and no gossiping or judging from people i know.
thats all for now, its back to watching my korean drama "spring waltz" im actually on the last episode, and it is seriously intense.
